Just as the long, drawn–out reconfiguration of the Gate 6–Bridgeway intersection comes to an end, a project to resurface 1.4 miles of the Sausalito–Mill Valley Multi–Use Pathway is expected to begin during the week of September 27. The work, which will take approximately three weeks to complete, will require sections of the path between Almonte Boulevard and Gate 6 Road to be fully closed for 24 to 48 hours. Signage will be placed in advance of any impending closures.

This flat, wide, 3.7 mile–long pathway offers easy access to people of all abilities and fitness levels and passes the floating homes from Commodore Marina to Gate 6. The pathway is part of the San Francisco Bay Trail.

Friendly dogs on leashes are welcome on the path. Low speed Class 1 and Class 2 eBikes are allowed on park multi–use pathways. Other rules may be found on the Marin County Parks website.
