For 40 years, the Floating Homes Association has supported and connected the Sausalito floating home community. Since its founding, the FHA has:
- Helped secure mortgage tax deductions for homeowners.
- Extended Proposition 13 protections to our homes.
- Helped create the Richardson Bay Special Area Plan.
- And drafted the 1991 Floating Homes Residency Law.
Last year, on behalf of the community, the FHA negotiated amendments to the rent control legislation with marina owners, and supported passage of AB 754, which is already saving homeowners money.
