Keeping litter, debris and unwanted items out of our water is something every houseboater understands. And yet we sometimes thoughtlessly toss items in the trash. Instead, bring your discarded electronic items to the the 2nd annual FHA-supported e-waste collection and recycling event—at the intersection of Bridgeway and Gate 6 Road—conveniently located for drop off by foot, shopping cart or car—Saturday Oct 28 from 9 to 2 p.m.
Not sure what to bring? Electronic items such as small appliances, phones, computers, printers and TVs of any size and shape, along with cords and cables, are all accepted free of charge. Please NO batteries, lightbulbs, fridges or hazardous waste. Special thanks to the Conservation Corps North Bay for doing the heavy lifting.
