Working with FHA Emergency Services Chair Flo Hoylman, officials of the Southern Marin Fire Department are preparing a seminar to specifically address wildfire safety for floating homes. It will be held live, via Zoom, at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 29. It should not be missed, so be sure your neighbors are aware of it.
A new speaker has been added to the webinar: Giselle Sutter Sponholz, a Cluster Captain and EMT who has been deployed in fire zones by the Red Cross, will provide her first-person account of lessons learned during wildfires and her experience in wildfire shelters. Audience questions will also be answered.
