Art Show Opens October 21

Art by Michele Harris | post by Larry Clinton

Long-time East Pier resident Michele J. Harris is having an art exhibit at Marin Humane in Novato. The exhibit, “The Adventures of Rocket the Cow-Cat & Harley,” depicts a fantastical world inhabited by Rocket, Michele’s 21-year-old cat and Harley the lovable Chihuahua side-kick. From camping in the woods with Big Foot to a sexy bubble bath for two, these collage prints will make you laugh and brighten your day.

The exhibit opens on Sunday, October 21 with a champagne reception from 1-4 p.m. at Marin Humane Society, 171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato, Whittell Building Lobby (left of the main adoption building). Harley the Chihuahua will be at the reception for a meet & greet. The exhibit will remain up through the month of October, and proceeds from the sale of prints, calendars and note cards will benefit the Humane Society, where Michele volunteers as an adoption counselor.

If you can’t make it to the art show, you can check out Michele’s art on her website.
