On January 31, the Sausalito Book Passage store will host a reading from In Our Hands – Handbook for Intergenerational Actions to Solve the Climate Crisis. The book, by longtime East Pier Resident Wilford Welch, offers an easy to understand primer on global warming and specific actions each of us can take to be part of the solution.
Wilford has been exploring the driving forces impacting our world for over five decades: as a U.S. diplomat in Asia; an economic development and business consultant in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the U.S.; the publisher of a world affairs magazine that appeared in 26 countries in six language editions; and as the leader of educational trips to numerous countries and cultures.
His reading will be from 6-7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31. You can also see him at the Sausalito Public Library on Feb 15 at 7p.m.
