Thanks to a partnership with Performing Stars of Marin City, the Parks and Recreation Department has added three September dates to its 2022 schedule of free Jazz and Blues by the Bay concerts in Gabrielson Park. Because of the shorter days in September, the Friday evening shows will begin at 6:00 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m.
- September 9: Margie Turner and the Out Back Blues Band (Blues)
- September 16: Niecey Robinson (R&B)
- September 23: Blackcat Zydeco (Zydeco)
If you plan to drive, please arrive early to find a parking spot; the special events parking lot in downtown Sausalito will not be available for the added shows. Likewise, there will be no food or beverage booths at the extra shows. As always, attendees are welcome to bring their own food and drinks.
Tables for the September shows are now available for purchase for the entire extended season or on a nightly basis via the Parks and Recreation Department’s online reservation system. The cost for a table at all three shows is $150 for 94965 residents and $160 for non-residents. Tables at single shows are priced at $60 for residents and $70 for non-residents.
