Red Shield Insurance is now requiring the installation of a sump pump in the hull of each floating home before they will renew or issue a new homeowner’s policy.
The FHA has negotiated a group discount for the Floating Homes community with A & R Plumbing. The FHA is not recommending A & R or guaranteeing their work, it is merely negotiating for the community.
A & R is a local business and has a lot of experience in floating homes. They are licensed and bonded and warranty their labor and they pass on the manufacturers’ warranty on parts.
As each job is tailored for the individual floating home, they will quote each homeowner a price based on scope of job.
- If 5 homes sign on with A & R — each will get a 5% discount on the quoted price
- If 10 or more houses sign on — each will get a 10% discount on the quote price
