Holiday By The Bay is month-long celebration throughout Sausalito filled with twinkling lights, heartwarming traditions, waterfront magic, and unforgettable community spirit. Here are some highlights:

Now Through December 7
Sausalito Village Intergenerational Art Show at Sausalito Center for the Arts, 750 Bridgeway.

Friday, December 5
Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 PM in Viña del Mar Park, with live music, cocoa, Santa’s arrival by boat, and warm community cheer to kick off the season.

Industrial Center Building Open Studios 5-8 p.m. About 50 artists will opening their doors. A great chance to find meaningful, last-minute gifts. The ICB is at 480 Gate 5 Road.

Saturday, December 6
Breakfast with Santa, 8:30 AM & 10:30 AM, Sausalito Yacht Club. A cozy pancake breakfast with photo ops, crafts, and holiday fun. This event is sold out. Sign up for wait list.

Inaugural Winter Gala. Marin City Health and Wellness will present its inaugural winter gala at the Peacock Gap Golf Club in San Rafael from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday the 6th. Highlights of the fundraising evening include gourmet food stations, live music and dancing, community impact awards, and silent and live auctions. Tickets are $200 each or $1,750 for a table of 10.

Holiday Kids Party at Sausalito Books by the Bay 3:00-4:00 p.m. Performing Stars of Marin City presents holiday music and prose. Holiday story time. Bites and beverages for all ages. 100 Bay Street.

Sunday, December 7
Christmas Bake and Craft Sale from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 180 Harrison Avenue. Enjoy homemade baked goods, crafts, treats, warm drinks, and a selection of eclectic gifts, plus a special holiday raffle. Free admission. Plentiful parking.

Holiday Open House. Sausalito Woman’s Club at 120 Central Avenue welcomes the public from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. to enjoy the club’s special joie de vivre for the holidays — elegant décor with a touch of Parisian holiday sparkle, a legendary spread of delicious hors d’oeuvres created by club members, carols around the piano, kids crafts, community cheer, photo ops with Santa, and children’s gift bags. Free admission but reservations are requested. Parking extremely limited, walking, drop-offs or ride shares suggested.

Christmas Vespers. The Sausalito Presbyterian Church’s choral ensemble presents We Have Seen the Star, this year’s annual Christmas Vespers Concert, at 5:00 p.m. 112 Bulkley Ave.

December 8 – 31
Gingerbread House Tour at Participating shops and restaurants. Stroll through downtown and vote for your favorite gingerbread creations in shop windows. Great fun for kids and families! More information on Chamber of Commerce website.

Thursday, December 11
Winter Open House at Spaulding Marine Center from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome at the historic shipyard for a free, family-friendly gathering featuring live music from the Dirt Farm Duo, food and drink for purchase, and an art market with local artists and artisans. Spaulding Marine Center is located at 600 Gate 5 Road in the Marinship district.

Saturday, December 13
Lighted Boat Parade & Fireworks, starting at 6:00 PM, Gabrielson Park & Sausalito Waterfront. A dazzling parade of decorated boats, followed by a spectacular fireworks show over Richardson Bay. Come early for music, food trucks, and waterfront festivities. A few premier viewing seats are still available.

Winter Market. Sausalito Center for the Arts (SCA) 750 Bridgeway in downtown Sausalito, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Featuring creations from local artisans, artists, and businesses. From handcrafted ceramics to natural skincare, vintage treasures to jewelry.

Saturday and Sunday, December 13-14
Ceramic Art Show. The art collective Gate 5 Clay presents its annual holiday party and sale. Over a dozen ceramic artists will be offering their works for sale from noon-5:00 p.m. each day at 247 Gate 5 Road.

Sunday, December 14
Jingle Bell 5K & Holiday Brunch. Run starts at 8:30, brunch at 9:00. Don your Santa hats and lace up for a scenic run/walk along the waterfront, followed by a festive brunch at The Spinnaker. Register at Winterfest.com.
