Kate Sears, who is retiring from the Marin County Board of Supervisors at the end of 2020, will be the featured speaker at the Floating Homes Association’s annual membership meeting and party.
The February 29 event at the Bay Model starts with registration at 5:00 p.m.; the meeting begins at 5:30. All members of the community are invited to attend the meeting, but seating is limited. Come early to get a good seat.
In addition to Kate Sear’s comments, you’ll meet the new crop of dock reps, hear about the latest FHA projects and sign up for dock-wide events. We’ll close with the Member of the Year Award and a drawing for fabulous prizes.
Beginning at 6:30, the popular Delicious Catering will serve a variety of ethnic delicacies from separate food stations. This is a great chance to catch up with neighbors, and to make new friends. The buffet dinner is free for FHA members (2 people from each floating home) as are kids under 14. Guests of FHA members or Non-Members pay $10 each.
FHA Memberships will be accepted during registration starting at 5:00, but you can avoid the lines by joining or renewing your membership in advance. Dues are $35/year, or you can save money by extending to a three-year membership for $100.
