While you’re enjoying Day in the Park this Sunday, be sure to stop by the Pickle Jar table for a chance to win one or more exciting prize packages. Here’s a preliminary list:

  • Barrel House Dinner for 5 with California Assemblymember Damon Connolly.
  • 3 nights aboard a 2 bed 1 bath floating guest cottage on Yellow Ferry Harbor, breakfast for 4 at Bayside Cafe, walking tour with Sausalito historian and Catherine Lyons-Labate’s beautiful photo book Sausalito: Once Upon a Waterfront plus cookies and tea at Butterflute’s Wedding Chapel in Marinship.
  • Walking tour for 6 with Sausalito and floating homes historian Larry Clinton followed by wine and cheese aboard the Lady Jane and original mint condition copy of Moments in Time by Jack Tracy of the Sausalito Historical Society (now out of print).
  • Private Floating Homes tour for 10 — come see two unique floating homes followed by wine and cheese aboard The Big Ahoy on East Pier.
  • 2 Tickets to see our very own mentalist and magician, Jay Alexander.
  • Two by two by two: Teddie Hathaway is offering  two 2-hour sessions for two people to create your own original glass art in her floating glass studio in Kappas Marina.
  • Sausalito City Council Member Jill Hoffman invites you to her table for Jazz and Blues by the Bay for one night, including a wine and food pairing picnic for 5 people and Jill.
  • Flynn Creek Circus at MLK Park. Donation is one table at a family-friendly or adults only performance.
  • Dinner for five at Angelino with Marin Supervisor Stephanie Moulton-Peters.
  • 4 tickets to Dear San Francisco in North Beach.

And that’s just the beginning! Day in the Park Chair Julie Durbin is still firming up details of more prize packages, so be sure to stop by the pickle jar booth on Sunday between noon and 4:35 p.m., when the winners will be announced.

Pickle jar drawing tickets may be purchased throughout the day. Remember, each volunteer gets one free ticket. If you haven’t signed up yet, there’s still a good selection of jobs and shift times on the DITP signup site.
