Spotlight on Sausalito Artists

The Sausalito Center for the Arts will present an exhibition of works from Sausalito’s original art colony, as well as contemporary local artists, beginning February 16.

Featured artists include Enid Foster, Walter Kuhlman, Phil Frank, Jean Varda, the Sausalito Six and others who flourished here in the 1940s, ‘50s and ‘60s. Memorabilia from the legendary Record Plant recording studio will also be part of the exhibition. Artwork from current, leading Sausalito and Marin City artists will be available for purchase. Admission is free and reservations are not required.

A ribbon cutting and reception are scheduled for Thursday, February 16 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
