After 12 years in Waldo Point Harbor, Mari Steeno is moving back East. Liberty Dock neighbors and friends gathered on April 22 for a potluck to wish her well. A sign on the potluck buffet table read: “Don’t say goodbye, say see you later,” and Mari said, “I’m taking an extended vacation. I’ll be back.”
Shortly after moving here in 2011, Mari became co-chair of the Open Homes Tour Committee, then moved over to manage the small group tours; that job is now in the hands of Heather Frentzen. Mari has also served as Membership Chair and is probably best known for co–hosting door prize drawings at FHA events alongside Michele Affronte.
