On the day after Thanksgiving, two vehicles belonging to visitors to Gate 6 1/2 were broken into and burglarized in broad daylight. The smash-and-grabs were reported to the sheriff’s office, and two deputies responded to take a report.
These are the latest incidents of vandalism or burglary in our parking lots. Similar crimes have been committed recently in the Issaquah, Kappas and Harbor Center lots.
Residents, guests and workers who use our lots all need to avoid leaving anything in sight in their vehicles. And if you see any suspicious activity in your lot, don’t hesitate to report it. The more the Marin Sheriff’s Department hears from our community, the more attention they will give to patrolling our lots.
