Flooded parking lots can total cars and also damage the wheels on shopping carts, so be prepared to move them if high tides coincide with rain. It’s not just some of our parking lots that flood during the King Tides. Best to also avoid driving through other areas prone to flooding, such as Gate 5 Road, Harbor Drive, Liberty Ship Way and the area near the underpass as you head towards Tam Junction, by the Manzanita Park and Ride.
