
Maritime Day at Galilee Harbor will take place on Saturday, August 2, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is an annual admission-free celebration of Sausalito’s rich maritime heritage and waterfront community.
This year marks the 45th anniversary of host Galilee Harbor. Organizers promise that this year’s event will be bigger than ever. Here’s what to expect:

⛵️ Boat Rides/Tours & Maritime Demos — See working boats, meet the makers, and learn about life on the bay
🎨 Artisan Vendors — Shop handmade goods, art, and crafts
⚓ Historic Milestones — Celebrate special anniversaries and the legacy of Sausalito’s maritime community
🎈 Kids’ Activities — Face painting, boat building tips, and fun for all ages
The Spaulding Marine Center has announced that Dixie, their Pulsifer Hampton 22 launch, will be available for free boat rides on the water.
Galilee Harbor, at 300 Napa St., is a self-sustaining, low-income cooperative dedicated to preserving waterfront access for all. Maritime Day is also a fundraiser to help repair climate change damage to their docks.
