FHA President Peter Miller has lined up an eclectic mix of music and spoken word to entertain attendees at Day in the Park on May 3.
- Cathy Gellis will kick things off at 12:10 p.m. performing a capella favorites including a sea shanty about Elon Musk.
- From 12:50 p.m. to 1:20 p.m., Chloe Hunwick Catriona will share a collection of songs from her forthcoming album Revolution of Love
- At 1:20 p.m., we’ll raise a toast to Issaquah Dock legend Annie Sutter
- Our sponsors will introduce themselves to the crowd at 1:40 p.m.
- At 1:50 p.m., Wilford Welch of East Pier will introduce our featured speaker, Mike McKinley, Emergency Services Coordinator for Sausalito, who will discuss disaster preparedness
- Bob Sinaiko of Yellow Ferry Harbor and his Loose Licks Jug Band will cut loose at 2:20 p.m.
- Joe Tate, Merrily, et. al. will close things out with a selection of rock classics from the days of the Redlegs
There will also be a number of disaster response stations, including Gabe with Bayside Fire who will once again inspect and refill old fire extinguishers or sell new ones.
