From August 18–23, artists will be painting live across town, capturing Sausalito’s beauty in real time. Then, on August 23 from 6–8 p.m., their work will be celebrated at the Sausalito Art Center’s Plein Air Art Show & Reception, a festive evening with art, awards, refreshments, and community.
The third annual plein air celebration will bring together live painting sessions, engaging artist talks, and a shared passion for this unique art form.
This immersive experience invites the public to witness art in motion as talented creators transform the scenic streets of Sausalito into vibrant canvases during six exhilarating Wet Paint Days as artists capture the unique charm of Sausalito’s waterfront, parks, and downtown area, with breathtaking views of San Francisco. Wander through Sausalito and watch these talented creators at work, transforming the scenery into stunning art right before your eyes.
