Breaking out the moves for the 2016 Floating Homes Tour were the Beyondo Boot Scooters – country and funk line dancing—(tune by Zac Brown Band: Homegrown)—led by Annemarie Estess and Caroline Hall of South 40—as captured by Ed Lopez.
Over on the Kappas Green, Ed recorded the Piper Park Pickers—a bluegrass band led by Emily Riddell of Issaquah Dock—playing the traditional song Rough and Ready.
There was no lack of music—either on the Kappas Green or on the various docks: Mythyx, Joe Tate, Julie Courtney and Doug Nichols, Piper Park Pickers, Harmonic Law, Blue Cactus Choir, and the Beyondo Boot Scooters Dancers all performed.
Thanks to a multitude of volunteers, those homeowners whose floating homes where on view, the public that thronged to catch a glimpse of our unique lifestyle—and not least the entire floating homes community—the 2016 Floating Homes Tour was a grand success.
