More King Tides Coming

King tides (tides over 6.5’ high) are due in December and January, with tides exceeding 7 feet in mid-December.

If accompanied by rains, these tides could flood parts of our parking lots, Gate 5 Road, the Manzanita parking lot and the multi-use path. Below are the predictions for higher than normal tides in the bay. Avoid parking in low-lying areas during these times and be sure your guests are aware of these tides as well.

FHA Environmental Committee volunteers have been tracking how close the bay water level is rising under our docks using yardsticks.
