Want to get involved, meet people, help your community, and have some fun? The Floating Homes Association (FHA) can help! Consider these options:

Volunteer positions are now available for the next FHA A Day in The Park event on October 29, 2023. Volunteering at A Day in The Park is a great way to help the FHA and your community while listening to music, eating great food, looking at art, and reconnecting with neighbors. Get involved in the planning or volunteer to set up, tear down, staff the membership/information table, or help with the festivities. Volunteer all day or pick a shift but get on the volunteer list before the spaces fill up. Please contact FHA Board Secretary Candice Gold if you are interested in learning more or signing up!

The FHA, through its Private Tour Committee, offers guided tours tailored for small groups to provide an opportunity to explore floating homes. Our private tours offer a personalized, intimate experience, allowing visitors to gain insights into the richness of floating home living and engage in meaningful conversations with homeowners and/or knowledgeable guides. Private Floating Homes Tours are an important fund-raising mechanism for the FHA. The FHA Private Tours Committee is currently recruiting floating home community volunteers to help organize and staff the individual tours. We are especially seeking guides to meet and escort small visitor groups to the open floating home. Being a guide is a great way to meet people in your community, work with a fun group of volunteers, and help the FHA raise funds to keep doing all that we do. Please contact FHA Board Secretary Candice Gold if you are interested in being part of the Private Tours team.
