LAC Meets With WPH

In May, The FHA’s Legislative Action Committee (LAC) circulated a memo from attorney Ken Coren regarding recent fees and costs imposed on residents by various marinas.

On July 18, LAC members from each marina met with Waldo Point Harbor executives and their attorney, Charles Olson, to discuss the memo. This was the first face to face discussion since July 2023, and it opened the door for additional productive exchanges.

During the meeting, the LAC learned that WPH is not enforcing the contractor parking fee that was announced last spring. Further developments will be reported in the Floating Times.

The LAC will ask Ken Coren to attend future meetings with WPH and other marinas, and the committee needs your support to retain his services. You can contribute to these efforts on the FHA website.
