It’s time to resurrect the Humming Toadfish Marching Kazoo Band for Sausalito’s 4th of July Parade. This marching unit has been a long-time feature of the parade, and was actually judged Best Entry in 2009.

The job of Director involves recruiting kazoo players, selecting the playlist of appropriate songs (Yellow Submarine and Anchors Aweigh are two perennial favorites), completing the parade application with the Sausalito Park & Rec department, and managing the Kazoo Band on the day of the parade.

Most of the supplies are on hand, and veterans of past parades will be available to help the Director get organized. They’ll attest that this is a fun way to participate in a classic small town parade.
