The Richardson Bay Maritime Association (RBMA) is on the last leg of fundraising to restore remaining Charles Van Damme Ferry artifacts—the paddle wheel and smokestack—for display at the Waldo Point Park.

Your donation will help close the gap. Donate online or by sending a check to RBMA, P.O. Box 1198, Sausalito, CA 94966.

Ahoy There! The RBMA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and a tax-deductible donation of $500 or more by September 1 will reserve a complimentary place aboard the Matthew Turner on September 21. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to tour the Bay in classic maritime style complete with wine, hors-d’oeuvres, and musical entertainment by the Marin Men’s Choir.

And This Just In! RBMA Chair Michael Rex recently told the Floating Times that the Association is exploring a possible alternative site for the Van Damme artifacts exhibit: still in the park, but away from the main grassy meadow area. Stay tuned!
