Friday evening, June 2, was a perfect kickoff to the new season of jazz and blues on the Sausalito waterfront at Gabrielson Park. This had to be the best opening night weather I’ve experienced in the more than 20 years I’ve been enjoying these free concerts.
It was Commodore Marina’s night to use the table for six (sponsored by the Floating Homes Association), and they turned out in force, with potluck dishes and drinks to share. Many floating home neighbors stopped by during the evening, and all enjoyed listening to the Anthony Paule Soul Orchestra with dynamic vocalist Wee Willie Walker.
The season runs through August. Look here to see when your dock is scheduled. And here’s a link to a map of the tables. The FHA table is #4, near the water’s edge.
