The doors of the Bay Model will open at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, to allow FHA members and their guests to browse an impressive array of auction items, including such luxuries as an overnight stay with breakfast at the Cavallo Point Lodge.
The Annual Meeting begins sharply at 11:00 and the agenda includes the presentation of the Member of the Year Award, and a 2024 financial report.
Catie Thow Garcia, Resiliency & Sustainability Manager for the City of Sausalito, will discuss the development of a shoreline adaptation plan to deal with sea level rise in the 94965 zip code. The FHA’s Legislative Action Committee will also make a brief announcement.
At 12:30, lunch will be served. This year we’ll enjoy a buffet of Korean and Mexican flavors, including vegetarian options. The luncheon will end at 2:30.
FHA Board member Pete Hudson is still seeking volunteers to help with set-up (8:00-10:00 a.m.) and take-down (2:30-3:30 p.m.) If you can help with tables and chairs, please contact Pete.
As reported in the Floating Times last week, FHA members may attend the Annual Meeting for free. Each non-member guest must pay a $15 entry fee. Remember that everyone in the household will be admitted free of charge at the Household Membership level. To upgrade your membership to the Household level, follow the instructions published last week.
Not sure about your membership status? Contact Pete Hudson before March 14. Enter “What’s My FHA Membership Status?” in the subject line of your email and provide your name, dock and berth number (if applicable).
Remember to bring your FHA Member card for expedited check-in. Memberships cards were emailed to all members on February 22 and will be again later this week.
To help with planning, advance reservations are encouraged. Please note that our system is currently only able to record one RSVP per individual FHA membership, so don’t worry about an RSVP for your non-member guest.
See you at the Bay Model!
