The American Red Cross is offering free installations of smoke alarms in floating homes on January 24. If you haven’t scheduled an installation in your home yet, you still can by using the QR code below or calling 415-721-2381.
These alarms have 10-year batteries and can cut the risk of death from home fires in half.
The installations will be completed between 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Saturday the 24th. Each appointment will include a brief discussion of home fire prevention tips.
