Kelly English of Kappas East sends along this social media advice:
The Sausalito Floating Homes community can really shine on Instagram! Residents can share
photos of their unique homes and the beautiful waterfront views, capturing the quirky charm of
the neighborhood. By posting pictures, you would attract those interested in unique architecture,
waterfront living, and the Sausalito lifestyle. You can even post about community events like the
outdoor concerts, neighborhood happy hours, art events and more!More in Instagram:
Instagram is a social media app where you share photos and videos. Think of it like a visual
diary that you can share with friends and family, or even the whole world! Just download the
Instagram app to open an account. When you post, you can add hashtags, which are words or
phrases with the “#” symbol in front of them (like #sunset or #travel). Hashtags help people find
your posts when they’re searching for those topics on Instagram. So, if you post a beautiful
picture of a sunset and use #sunset, others who are looking at sunset pictures might discover
your photo!
To tag someone on Instagram, use the “@” symbol followed by their username. You can do this
in a post’s caption or by tagging them directly in the photo itself. When you tag someone in a
photo, it creates a link to their profile and notifies them that they’ve been tagged. This is a great
way to give someone credit for a photo, share a post with a friend, or collaborate with other
users. If you tag @sausalitofha, we can add it to the Sausalito Floating Homes Association Instagram profile!
