Julie Durbin, PR and Marketing Committee Chair for the Floating Homes Association, is inviting local businesses, non-profits and other organizations to participate as sponsors of the May 19 Day in the Park.
Julie points out: “our tightly knit community provides the best form of advertising: word of mouth. It is actually word of many mouths. We talk, other houseboaters listen, then they talk to friends who have already heard it from other houseboat friends. Then we all act. Then your business makes money.
“We not only spend money on our floating homes and in Sausalito, we bring people to our town and make suggestions to our guests. We are very well-connected and send customers directly to your business. They are coming from our docks, the Bay Area, all over the country and around the world.”
Sponsorships start as low as $1,300 and include digital advertising, visibility at the May 19 event and acknowledgment in the Floating Times. More perks are available at higher sponsorship levels.
