FHA Adopts New Dues Structure

The Floating Homes Association is working hard to continually provide our members with events and services that build community and protect the legal rights of owners and renters of floating homes. In addition to our fundraising events and donations, we depend on membership fees to round off the budget and provide a reliable, consistent source of income. The FHA has not raised membership dues in many years, so we need to catch up. To do that, we are introducing a membership fee increase that helps us cover the ever-increasing costs of representing this amazing community. The new membership fee schedule that was recently approved by the FHA Board is outlined as follows:

Resident Annual Membership: $45
A resident is anyone who currently owns or rents a floating home in one of the local floating home marinas: Kappas, Commodore, Yellow Ferry, and Waldo Point.

Non-Resident: $35
A non-resident is anyone who does not live on a floating home in one of the local Floating Home Marinas but wants to be a member of the FHA (e.g., friends and family).

Household Annual Membership: $70
A household is two or more people and would allow all people residing in a floating home located in one of the local Floating Home marinas to enjoy the privileges of FHA membership. It’s also an opportunity to show a household’s support of the FHA.

Business Memberships: $50
This category is for local businesses interested in building and maintaining relationships with our community.

For your convenience, three-year memberships are also available:
Resident 3-Year: $110
Non-Resident 3-Year: $80
Household 3-Year: $155
Business 3-year: $125

The new FHA website is ready to accept new or renewing members and donations for those who care to offer additional support.
