Last week FHA President Michael Labate installed two Adirondack chairs on the viewing platform in the new Waldo Point Park. The chairs bear brass plaques memorializing two neighbors who passed away last year: Waldo Point employee Dimitrio Aparicio and Issaquah Dock’s Barbara Duncan. Earlier, a chair honoring Pam Bousquet was placed on the L of Issaquah.
The chairs were purchased with a portion of the proceeds from last spring’s virtual gala and tour and there is funding available for a few more. If you’d like to suggest someone to be recognized in this way, please contact Julie Durbin.
