HERE ARE SOME OF THE ITEMS THAT WERE DISCUSSED OR DECIDED ON AT THE OCTOBER 10 FHA BOARD MEETING. MORE DETAILS WILL BE REPORTED LATER IN THE FLOATING TIMES.
- FHA President Pete Hudson announced that Peter Miller is replacing Pete Huson as Main Dock alternative Rep.
- The FHA operated at a net loss of $451.55 in October. Cash on hand is now $28,269. As of September 30 membership dues received totaled $9,650.00, $3150.00 more than was budgeted for the entire year.
- Pete and webmaster Stanton are planning to move the FHA membership database to Member Planet software, which will be able to interface with the FHA website and the Floating Times. It will also allow dock reps to get updated membership lists every month and can auto-renew memberships.
- The FHA is planning to raise membership dues in 2024. New and renewing members can lock in current rates on the FHA website. An updated Welcome Packet detailing the benefits of FHA membership is also on the site. It can be printed out and shared with new residents.
- Another meeting is scheduled with local legislators to discuss possible changes to AB252. The community will be updated later this year.
