Announcing the Bay Area Challenge Kickoff Celebration!
We are incredibly excited to invite you to the Bay Area Challenge Kickoff Celebration on Sunday, September 10th, when Resilient by Design will unveil the 10 Design Teams selected to join our local communities in the challenge, starting with an afternoon of celebration and BBQ on the beautiful Richmond shoreline. After receiving interest from over 350 local, national and international experts and nearly 100 site submissions from around the Bay, we are throwing the event to celebrate you, our partners and the Bay Area communities ready and willing to take bold action in the face of climate change. The event will serve as the first opportunity for Design Teams to hear from local voices dedicated to making our region more resilient and will kick-off the Collaborative Research Phase, when design experts will join our neighbors in collaboration with local experts to identify locations around the Bay that are vulnerable to the impacts of climate change.
