Who Will Take Over the Floating Times?

When I started working on it, the Floating Times looked like this | photo by Jane Clinton | post by Larry Clinton

Having turned 85, I’ve decided that this will be my last year as editor and publisher of the Floating Times. My hope is to begin training my replacement to take over by August. After that, I still plan to be a regular contributor to the FT, but not the publisher.

So I’m looking for a volunteer who can work in WordPress, MailChimp or similar programs. Or someone who can create a new version of the FHA’s online newsletter in the software of their choice.

The Floating Times has been the eyes, ears and voice of the FHA for nearly 50 years, and I’ve worked on virtually every issue as a contributor or editor. I hope you, like me, have been positively impacted by the safety tips, legal updates and dock news you’ve read here, and that you understand the need to keep this vital communications channel alive.

If you’re interested in carrying this tradition forward, I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have.
