Two local authors will be reading from their works this month.
Tonight, John Byrne Barry will discuss his novel Pirates of Sausalito at Sausalito Books by the Bay, 100 Bay St., Sausalito.
Starting at 6:00 p.m., John will speak about the waterfront skirmishes that inspired his houseboat wars murder mystery, “and whatever else people ask about.”
On Tuesday evening, April 22, Harper’s Magazine reporter and editor Joe Kloc will read from his book on the anchor-outs of Richardson’s Bay: Lost at Sea, Poverty and Paradise Collide at the Edge of America.
Joe’s near-decade-long firsthand account of the joys, hardships, and eventual demise of the anchor-outs is in many ways the story of being poor in America.
Catch Joe at Book Passage on April 22, 51 Tamal Vista Blvd., starting at 6:00 p.m.
