Evolving Shorelines – Of Marsh and Men: Staying Above Water at Bothin Marsh
Marin County Parks Event
When: Wednesday, September 5, 7 – 8:30pm
Where: Mill Valley Library, 375 Throckmorton Ave, Mill Valley
What: Laurel Collins explores man’s impact over time on the upper Richardson Bay shore in the vicinity of Bothin Marsh and Tam Valley. The natural landscape challenged the lives of early settlers and land developers. Their legacy of landscape alteration complicates current efforts to address a rapidly rising Bay during this century. Please register for this event.
Marin County Parks is partnering with One Tam to address the challenges this open space preserve is faced with: climate change and sea level rise. Visit the Bothin Marsh Project for more information and opportunities to get involved in community conversations and activities.
