On Saturday, February 7, the Southern Marin Fire Protection District will test its outdoor notification system at 12:00 noon, as part of its regular monthly testing on the first Saturday of each month. The SMFPD wants to know whether floating home residents hear the siren and asks that we fill out an online form.
Emergency Services Chair Flo Hoylman advises that this is a good way to get us included in the district’s alert range.
So put a reminder in your calendar, and be sure to fill out the form, whether you hear the alert or not. Remember, 9-1-1 is for emergencies only. Do not call to report the test.
