The FHA Annual Membership meeting on Saturday morning, February 21, promises to be chock full of important information for floating homes residents.
There will be tables for FHA Membership, sponsors and the exciting silent auction.
Bidding for the silent auction kicks off as soon as the doors open at 9:00 and lasts through the first hour of socializing and enjoying a delicious breakfast buffet. The silent auction table will be open throughout the meeting.
The agenda includes:
- Introduction of new officers and dock reps.
- Thanks to those leaving the Board.
- Acknowledgment of Premier Sponsor Bay Cities Refuse and Community Sponsors Samantha Fazio, Hawser Marine; Michelle Affronte, Engel & Volkers Realty; and Steve Sekhon, Compass Realty. (Be sure to stop by their tables for the latest information on their services.)
A review of significant achievements and challenges in 2025 and a look ahead at 2026. - Year-end FHA financial report.
- Announcement of Member of the Year.
- Remarks by Sausalito Vice Mayor Melissa Blaustein with brief Q&A.
- Last chance to bid on silent auction before winners are drawn about noon.
Volunteers are still needed, particularly for meeting setup and tear down. Please join one of our volunteer teams on our volunteer website.
The meeting and breakfast are free for current FHA members. Non-member guests are $15 each. If you are not an FHA member, you can join on the FHA website or look for the “Membership” button on our homepage.
If you’re not sure of your membership status, or wish to make any changes, stop by the membership table for assistance. Dues may be paid in cash, through a QR code, or by credit card via Square.
