WHEN: Saturday June 25

WHERE: Marin City Senior Center, 630 Drake Ave

WHAT: One-half Day Training 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

CONTACT:  Flo Hoylman – flohoy@gmail.com

We need a minimum of 15 people, but we can take up to 30—so far, 14 people are signed up

WE WILL COVER WHAT ANYONE CAN DO TO HELP:

  • Recognize a basic life threat in 15 seconds
  • Clear and protect an airway
  • Stop severe bleeding; includes principles and practice of tourniquet application
  • Apply a splint and sling
  • Safely lift and carry a victim

This is a hands-on experience that will increase your skills even if you just took CERT. Here is an opportunity to train with friends and neighbors. In addition to the above skills, we could add: help someone who’s been in the water.
