From the Sausalito Village site: At our first session on Being Mortal, there were lots of questions and interest in knowing more about the End of Life Option Bill (Brittney’s Law) signed into law late last year. So for a second program in the Being Mortal Series, we will have a speaker explain the law, talk about practical implications, and provide the latest information about how the law is being put in to effect, including possible challenges to the law.

The speaker is from “Compassion and Choices”, an organization that improves care and expands choice at the end of life. Our speaker will have the latest information available. There will be lots of time for questions and answers and learning more about how Compassion and Choices is a link to implementing the law.

After the Q & A, we will have a brief discussion about other topics to cover in this series. We want your input again for the next programs.

The Meeting will be Wednesday. January 27th from 3:00 to 5:00 P. M. at the Sausalito City Hall, in the Edgewater Room. Sponsored by Sausalito Village, open to the public.
