The silent auction portion of the Floating Homes Virtual Gala and Tour is now open for bidding. You don’t have to be a ticket holder to bid, but you will need a ticket to watch the Virtual Gala at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 9. The auction closes at the end of the Gala: 8:00 p.m. Here’s a small sample of the dozens of appealing prizes to tempt you:

Sail for 2 on the Matthew Turner
Two gift certificates for any community sail from the Bay Model. Matthew Turner is a traditional wooden tall ship built entirely by volunteers and designed after the ship Galilee, which was built in the late 1800s by ship designer and builder Matthew Turner. The Galilee held the San Francisco to Tahiti passage record of 19 days for many years.
Walking tour of the docks followed by wine & chocolate tasting aboard the Fairy Tale
A guided walking tour of the Floating Homes community for four people, followed by wine tasting with wine from Catena Zapata, and chocolate pairing aboard The Fairy Tale. Sommelier and storyteller Juan Antonio Perez, of Catena Zapata Winery (founded in 1902), and Julie and Ed, owners of the Fairy Tale, will take you on a walking tour of the colorful houseboat community. Afterwards, they will entertain you on the deck of Julie and Ed’s Fairy Tale, one of six floating homes that you will see on the virtual tour. Juan Antonio will offer his selection of High Altitude Grand Cru Chardonnay, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, to taste and pair with chocolate from the Chocolate Shop in downtown Sausalito. Up to four people May attend. Must be booked by December 2022.

Salmon Fishing—Two Spots on the Salty Lady
Sausalito’s premier sport–fishing boat is offering two spots for a single day of salmon fishing on the ocean. The 54–foot charter boat berthed at Clipper Yacht Harbor is owned and piloted by Captain Jerad Davis, a 30-year sport–fishing veteran. Rods, tackle, weights and bait are all included. In addition to the two spots, you both receive personalized on–boat fishing instruction from Court Mast, the Salty Lady’s second captain (and West Pier resident). Salty Lady departs Sausalito at 6:00 a.m. and returns at 3:00 p.m. For your day on the water, all each angler needs to bring is lunch, warm clothing and the unbridled desire to catch two wild King Salmon… FISH ON!!
