Malia Rudolf of Issaquah recruited floating homes residents and others to join the Women’s March on January 21 in San Francisco (earlier post HERE). The march was part of a national movement to unify and empower everyone who stands for human rights, civil liberties, and social justice for all. Here’s her report, and photos from the event:
The March was fantastic! We had about 27 friends and family and dock neighbors on our chartered bus. Spirits were high and signage was amazing! There were about 100,000 like-minded protesters all marching down Market Street in a light drizzle. Which did nothing to dampen our enthusiasm and spirits! Really wonderful heartwarming experience and a really great group of people. Will keep you posted on future events!
